Baby's Fine, Rain or Shine

Posted by Lisa Mulcahy

I don't know about the rest of the country, but here in New York the weather has been completely unpredictable. Just when I think it looks great for a walk around the neighborhood, storm clouds blow in and the rain comes down. Five minutes later the sun is shining. This stylin' double duty parasol could have come in handy this week.

From Shady Baby, the Pink-Brown Polka Dot Parasol, $35,
has a universal clamp that fits most strollers, portable cribs, swings and lawn chairs. In addition to providing shelter from the rain it also shields baby from the sun with a 50 SPF fabric. I don't know why I didn't research this last summer. My son practically lived in a play yard where I rigged up a cumbersome beach umbrella to shade him.
