Mimi the Sardine

Posted by elizabeth leach

One of the first things I bought when our pediatrician said it was time for solids was a splash mat. And I’ve never taken it out of the bag because its so hideous I’d rather clean up sweet potatoes from the floor. Obviously, I hadn't heard of Mimi the Sardine.

Mimi the Sardine makes splash mats, place mats, bibs, aprons, and lunch bags made from eco-coated, cotton fabrics directly imported from Sweden. All of Mimi’s products can be wiped clean or machine-washed. The patterns are bright, fun, and definitely worth taking out of the bag. Buy directly from Mimi, herself, or from Giggle.

A plastic shower curtain is another option, for considerably less than $30.

I myself prefer the "spot clean" method ;)
