There must be something in the water here is Babble land. Two of our editors just had newborns and they’ve generously been sharing with you, our dear readers, the trials and tribulations of finding all the perfect baby gear from pacifiers to the best bottle - all very practical stuff and utilitarian things.
One thing that isn’t a necessity but if done correctly, or done at all, can be a great way to store the most important things, your memories, is to acquire and regularly update a baby book. I’ve talked to many a parent of teenagers who are still trying to make time to work on their kid’s baby books. Sadly, I’m on the same track, I have only spent one afternoon, while the baby was napping, putting milestones in her flowery pink baby book (it was a gift). But if I had the beautiful Binth Baby book I’d surely dedicate more time in putting in my babies first this, that and there just to sneak a peek at the lovely illustrations. This hardcover book comes in green keepsake box and has been handcrafted and entirely screen printed (on recycled stock). It’s almost as special as your memories. $110
