Sharing a Bedroom with Baby: A Bassinet to Match Your Modern Style

Posted by Lisa Mulcahy

Even though the bassinet days are short-lived, at the most maybe 6 months, it’s still a must-have staple. As much as the idea of co-sleeping appeals to some people, it’s not for me. Call me selfish, but I like having my bed to myself (and my husband). If you have to share your bedroom in those first couple of months, here’s a really cool looking bassinet that won’t cramp your style.

It’s the shape that makes the Kika Bassinet, $1,450 from Gozia Home, so unique. Made of natural birch, the bends and curves make this modern bassinet seem cozier than some of the straight-lined uber chic ones. O.k., considering the amount of time you’ll use a bassinet the price may not be worth it. But at least the mattress, bumper and veil are included.
