7 Days of Eco-Friendly Clothing: BabySoy

Posted by Chris Ford

We've written about BabySoy clothes before, but during "7 Days of Eco-Friendly Clothing," I think it deserves a second mention. All the textile products from BabySoy are made from soybean fiber, a a renewable natural resource.

What I've gathered from their "about soybean fiber" page, the way you get soybean fibers is you get some soybeans, liquefy them to remove the proteins, and then solidify the liquid to get the fibers. However they make it, they make a number of baby clothes, bibs, teddy bears - and now they have toddler clothes too (pictured).

Oh, and did I mention the fabric is incredibly soft? Just ask our Editor-in-Chief.

Check out all the products at babysoyusa.com
