7 Days of Eco-Friendly Clothing: Simple Kid’s Skiffs

Posted by Heather Kuldell

You may have already stocked up on organic cotton clothing, but have you found earth-friendly kids’ shoes yet? Try Simple Kids Skiffs.

Good luck finding a greener sneaker: The uppers and lining are made of organic cotton, and just about everything else is recycled from something. The rubber sole? Used to be a tire. The elastic? Recycled PET and latex. Even the foot forms are made from 100 percent post-consumer paper.

Skiffs come in two color combos: rabbit and adriatic blue or cub and moss. Toddler and kids sizes are available for $40.
