
Curiously, if unfortunately, sharing a name with B.F. Skinner's notorious hands-free babyscape, the AirCrib ($99) applies the concept of the quick-inflating air bed to portable baby gear. Approved for infants up to five months (huh), but capable, according to the manufacturer, of corralling kids into the toddler years, the crib features five separate inflatable chambers to prevent collapse in the event of deflation; a 24" x 33" interior area; breathable mesh walls; and a self-inflating foam-core mattress with fitted sheet.
You can add on a mesh cover to keep bugs away, as well as additional sheets and an electric hand pump, all sold separately from the manufacturer. Oh, and in case you're wondering how it differs from the Skinner box for babies, the answer is A LOT:
