TwistTogether Lamp - A Night Light for Almost Everyone

Posted by Chris Ford

Unless you're lighting up the hallway to make sure Grandma doesn't trip and fall on her way to the bathroom in the middle of the night, night lights are typically the domain of children. This lamp from TwistTogether Company wouldn't be so good for the hallway, but it might make a good addition to your little girl or boy's room for many years to come.

The lamp is a set of plastic blocks,  each with illuminating LED lights. But what makes it really unique is that you can move and connect the individual blocks together to form any configuration you can think of.

I'm interested in this product for a couple of reasons. The first is, because of the "candy colors" (red, blue, green and orange) the lamp is completely gender neutral. This comes in handy if you're trying to decorate the nursery of a baby you don't know the sex of yet, or if you're just trying to get away from blue and pink for a change. The other thing I love is it's timelessness. Some of the best things I've put in my daughter's room are things that I can also imagine her bringing to her college dorm room with her, and this would probably fit right in with that.
