Despite its resemblance to the garment most of us associate with the nice young men in their clean white coats, the SwaddleMe Traveler from Kiddopotamus ($19.99 at Amazon; three colors available) is actually on to something -- if you have an infant who demands swaddling, this is the easiest way to swaddle on the go. (They are marketing it as a keep-warm solution, though I personally would prefer a carseat cover if that was the only goal.) Lay the SwaddleMe in the seat; slip baby's legs in and buckle up; fasten the swaddling cover across baby, over the seatbelt. Colicky infants may have met their match with this one.
