Children's Club Expo & Fashion Show: Matilda & Company

Posted by aprilpeveteaux

I was transported back to my grandmother’s kitchen when I looked at these new designs by Paula Corley for Matilda & Company. That’s probably because the same kitchen towel my grandmother had embroidered was hanging on their rack in the form of an infant dress. Before I could ask Corley why she was stealing linens from my grammy, the rest of the collection of vintage and retro-reproductions transformed into party dresses, separates and even one-of-a-kind bibs made me awwww, in delight. This So Cal mom of two has created a warm (and washable) line that caught my eye in a sea of hundreds of exhibitors at the Children’s Club Expo. To see more of what you will covet, check out their site. And pay attention to your local kid’s clothing store, because after this year’s Expo, I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of Matlida & Company. Chris Jordan noticed these beautiful threads too, and seems quite keen on them.

Another adorable picture, after the jump.

Awwwww! This infant dress has bloomers that match the trim. Ridiculously sweet.
