DigitalLife Expo: I Can Play Guitar System

Posted by aprilpeveteaux

So you want to learn how to shred? Me too, and I totally think I could do it with the Fisher-Price I Can Play Guitar System. This system is easy guys, and while Aaron gave us an awesome wrap-up on the more sophisticated guitar games, I think I’ll stick with the I Can Play.

When you first pick up your axe (which you can customize with killer flame stickers) the first thing you’ll learn is the strumming. As you get the rhythm and timing, you also cause things to explode on the TV, and earn major points. These points take you to the serious stuff, where you learn the proper finger placement and notes. The third level puts it together while your punk rock avatar is cheering you on like you're Keith. After you’ve mastered the three levels, you should actually be able to play the guitar in real life.

The I Can Play plugs right into your television, which somehow also puts me at ease. And while the system is for ages six and up, if it was always your dream to learn, or if you are just tired of getting shamed at Guitar Hero, get one of these for your kid and go to town after bed time. Hey, it beats taking lessons from this guy. – April Peveteaux
