Eddie Bauer Harness Buddy

I'm not interested in having a debate about toddler leashes, but if you must use one, I'm all for something that looks like a cute animal backpack rather than something that screams "Help! Call Child Protective Services!" This oh-so-politically-correctly named harness buddy from Eddie Bauer ($9.99 at Amazon) fits the bill nicely. He gets to wear the monkey (who has a zipper pouch for trinkets), you get to hold the tail and pretend you don't have your kid on a leash. Perfect.

Yep. We're some of those non-PC parents that have one.  Ours is the "Puppy Backpack" Eddie Bauer harness and we love it.

The little man doesn't mind wearing a monkey backpack, either, which is a bonus. It doesn't get used a lot, but it's nice for trips to the mall or the duck pond.
