Rock-A-Bye Amby Baby

This innovative alternate sleeping method for restless babies seems to be a hit with parents.  As well as helping babies sleep longer, they claim the product will reduce colic and reflux.  For babies up to 25 pounds, the Motion Bed Infant-Toddler Package is reasonably priced around the same price point as a (non heart-shaped) crib ($294).  You can also order a special bracket to go to 40 pounds but I think at 12 months, you run the risk of your little one climbing out.  I'm also wondering about the transition from this unit to a bed and how well kids would adjust.

We bought this out of desperation for our daughter because she wouldn't sleep anywhere.  It wasn't the miracle I was hoping for, but definitely helped.  We took her out just before a year because she was sitting up in it and I was worried she could get out.

The transition to a regular bed wasn't too bad...I think the first night was difficult, but after that it was fine.

I think this would be a great bed to use starting as early as possible...that's what we plan for #2!

We got this for our second child. We co-sleep but I wanted something for in the living room so I could have the new baby close while I played with the toddler. It worked GREAT!! My toddler loved it too. He would use it as a cuddly reading place and a bouncy fun swing. We kept a little over 2 years until my baby sister got pregnant and wanted it. She's been using it for over a year now and loves it just as much as I do. The kids were asking for a replacement so I recently bought them a chair hammock for their playroom. These things are amazingly wel built and will take a fair amount of rough housing. I highly recommend them.
