Spit Up: Shampoo Rinse Cup for the Cupless

Posted by Mir

Shampoo Rinse Cup

Look, it's a pitcher (only $8.95 at One Step Ahead)! With a rubbery panel you can set down right on your darling's head! Absolute genius, I tell you. Yes. Because a normal cup (or a shower nozzle, or a bowl, or your cupped hands for crying out loud) cannot possibly rinse shampoo from your preeeeshus without getting it in her eyes. And a fancy pitcher is totally going to rescue her from that. You know, because kids never squirm and the shape of the pouring unit matters so much.

Free advice: Have her hold a washcloth over her face while you rinse. You're welcome.

Personal experience on this one... $3.00 at Walmart for the same thing. For $3.00 it works well enough to stop the shrill tub screams.

I gotta say, I find this more Meh-worthy than SplitUp-worthy. I'd certainly spend $9 on this before I'd spend $15 on an iPood onsie.

That being said, I probably will not buy either..

This is the only thing that would allow us to wash my daughter's hair without screams and tears.  We tried other cups, the washcloth trick, everything...and this was the only thing that worked.

Hey...for $9, it was worth it to us.

5 bucks at Toys R Us...but the labels don't peel off, and they get kind of moldy after the first week...yuck.

This actually worked great for rinsing my infant's head. I probably wouldn't have seen it's value for an older child, but  for my 2 month old, it was a perfect solution at bathtime.
