Rock the Retro: The Black Apple Paper Dolls

Posted by Mir

Black Apple Paper Dolls

Most of today's kids have never played with paper dolls, but the once-beloved activity is still a great creative option when you're looking for something quiet and/or highly portable. These Black Apple paper dolls (from Mahar Drygoods, temporarily out of stock) somehow combine both the retro feel of the dolls we grew up and just enough new twists to make them appeal to modern kids. Combat boots with your minidress, anyone?

I have these! I bought them from her Etsy site last year. I still haven't cut them out, and am thinking of just matting and framing them to hang in the kids' room (or hell, in mine!).
