omg! omg! omg! You were in my homeland!!!!!! I live in Lansing, which is 45 mins away from GR.

I hav a question for you. Do you guys get annoyed when people approach you in public? Just to say hi?

I would've been so freaked out if I was eating in the same restaurant with you guys. No joke. But freaked out in a good way.

Is Mags rockin' it shirtless in that one photo? Anyway, It was really, really fun to see you in Grand Rapids, and such a great first rock show for our daughter Hazel. Thank you so much for inviting her backstage to deliver her sign she made for you guys. She had fun playing with Magnolia and Chris (sp?). You seem to be surrounded by good folks. Thanks for being such excellent parents, people, songwriters, performers, partners, humans who are still writing great songs, and bringing it to the people. Looking forward to seeing you again sometime. Hazel and Auggie would love to play. Take care.

hey, thanks for suffering through a drive through michigan. surprising amounts of charming emptiness. (and thanks for driving a fuel-efficient car.) sometimes it's frustrating when bands deftly avoid this area when on tour, but i really enjoyed seeing you at Magic Stick! Good luck on your Re-arranger tour!

I see Mags is sporting the anti-nausea wristbands! I love those because they don't knock you out for two days like dramamine does. Where'd you get the pretty yellow ones, though? I can only find boring old black.

And don't feel bad about the backward dress. I saw Tokyo Police Club once and the singer's fly was down the whole set. Still love those guys and I'm sure your wardrobe malfunction didn't diminish your reputation to the folks rockin' out at your show, either.

Drives between the UP and LP are pretty long. The last one I took was in the backseat of a truck, squished between two other people, so I completely understand!

I did see you play at Northern, and absolutely loved it! The picture afterwards made my night :)

I love your music and I hope to see you play again, whenever you come back to Michigan!

I am constantly impressed by how well you combine being in a band and having a family too. For some of us (me!)a trip to IKEA on Saturday with a new baby is daunting but you manage to travel across the world and keep it all together. Amazing!
